life so far

wow.
it has been a while since I blogged.
I'm sorry readers.
but I'm really busy for past few weeks.
when I have the time I would rather take a rest or study.:/

well, I'm in week 6 of my course already
and surprisingly I'm still surviving.
this semester is indeed way tougher than first semester.
let's see how I'm coping with my units..

ENG1060 (Computing for Engineers):
probably the hardest unit in my opinion.
until now what I have learned is all about programming.
it is not easy or maybe I'm just weak at programming. >.<
every week I have lab assessment which contains 2% of my overall assessment. WOW
I had been struggling for every computer lab session.
out of 15 questions, I only managed to solve 5 of them.
the rest were either solved by asking friends for help or by copying friends' work.
it's really not good.

ENG1030 (Electrical and Computing Systems):
second hardest unit in my opinion.
the materials learned are getting harder and harder.
at least the lecturer is good.
however the lecture notes are insufficient. =.=
the textbooks have too much information too. XD
anyway, my mid term for this unit is next week Wednesday. OMG
I have to work really hard now.
as for assessment, this unit is the worst.
every week there is online quiz.
and every fortnight there is online lab quiz.
the weightage for both of them are 1% and 1.5% respectively of overall assessment.

next, CHM1011 (Chemistry):
there are three parts for this unit.
Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry.
they are supposed to be taught accordingly to the order above.
but because the Physical Chemistry lecturer is currently on maternity leave,
the order is reversed.
so bloody hell we had struggle with the Organic Chemistry first which is the hardest part for this unit. >.<
the lecturer for Organic Chemistry is horrible I think.
many people for previous semester said she sucks too.
anyway, it is another unit that I have to work very hard on. >.<
at least Inorganic Chemistry is still going quite well now.
assessment?
since there is lab session every week, we have to submit lab reports 2 days after the lab session.
would you believe it? we only have 2 days to type a complete report. WTH
this is not all.
there is online quiz too.
luckily the quiz is every three weeks. *sighs relief*

lastly, ENG1020 (Engineering Structures):
probably the most comfortable subject so far.
everything is sort of learned before in Physics.
Stress, Strain, Hooke's Law, Torque, Moment, etc.
but still, I know I cannot take this unit for granted.
as for assessment..
we are given Project 1 since week 1 already.
it is about designing a guard tower in campus car park area. O.o
it contains 15% of our overall assessment! O.O
well, so far so good for my project.
thanks to my awesome teammates. ^^
however, next week is the presentation week already.
so for this week, we have to work on report and Powerpoint presentation.
not forgetting on sharpening my oral presentation skills too. >.
well, now I realized this course can actually make you go crazy.
I just hope I can continue to survive.
and you know what? I actually I thought of doing really well for this semester.
looking at my current performance.
it is going to be really really hard. >.<
I hope you all can pray for me to do well for this course. XD

oh wait what about girls??
